Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License in good standing; must possess own tools.
• Diesel/Vehicle repair/diagnostics experience required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses vehicle issues by performing inspections, tests, and identifying worn or damaged parts.
• Performs maintenance and repairs including preventive service, part replacements, system overhauls, adjustments, alignments, and upgrades across all major vehicle systems.
• Ensures compliance and performance through test drives, system checks, and adherence to safety, engine, and emissions standards.
• Maintains documentation and equipment by recording repairs, managing inventory, troubleshooting shop equipment, and coordinating necessary repairs.
• Supports department goals by controlling costs, staying current through training, and adding value to operations.
