Job summary

Transdev in Perryton, TX is seeking an experienced Diesel Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel engines across our fleet. The role emphasizes safety, efficiency, and longevity of vehicles, with a focus on electrical systems, brakes, and preventative maintenance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; vocational/technical vehicle repair certification preferred.
• ASE Certification preferred.
• Class B CDL with air brake endorsement preferred.
• State inspection license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and vehicles with supervision as needed.
• Repair brakes, tune-ups, suspensions, drive trains, transmissions, and related components.
• Maintain accurate records of parts used and work orders.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and safety inspections at prescribed intervals.
• Assist with road calls and emergency services when required.
• Adhere to company policies and safety standards.
