Zusammenfassung

Texas Pride Fuels, LTD is hiring a diesel and auto mechanic to maintain and repair our fleet of trucks and tractors, including class A tractor-trailers and tanker outfits. The role demands a strong diagnostic background and hands-on work in a fast-paced environment at our Springtown, TX location.

You will work 10-12 hour day shifts with a rotating 5-on/2-off and 5-on/3-off schedule, receive paid training, PTO in year one, health/dental/vision/life insurance, and 401k with company match.

Qualifikationen

• Preventive maintenance and repairs: oil changes, filters, transmission flush, AC, air brakes, lights, horn, lift and install heavy components and inspection of vehicle for mechanical deficiencies.
• Extensive experience with Cummins INSITE and Detroit Diesel DiagnosticLink.
• Extensive hands-on experience diagnosing and repairing Ford F-150 and Ford F-250 (gas and diesel).
• Experience with fuel pump equipment and hoses.
• Familiar with DOT and other rules and regulations as pertained to vehicle maintenance and compliance.
• Ability to keep a clean and safe work environment that complies with OSHA standards.
• Ability to maintain communication with drivers and management regarding maintenance and service of vehicles and equipment.
• Accurately recordall maintenance activity on company documentation.
• MonitorDaily Vehicle Inspection Report (DVIR) for commercial vehicles.
• Perform all purchasing functions, such as issuing purchase orders (POs).
