Job summary
Performance Foodservice in the United States is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to service medium to heavy-duty trucks and trailers. You will perform preventive maintenance, inspect critical components, and document work orders accurately while ensuring compliance with state and federal trucking regulations.
Role requires 2+ years of fleet repair experience, proficiency with diagnostics, electrical troubleshooting, and A/C systems.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
- 2+ years of proven medium to heavy-duty vehicle repair experience.
- Experience with PMs, tire & wheel, air & air disc brakes, diagnostics, electrical troubleshooting and A/C refrigeration.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance on fleet tractors, trailers and components.
- Ensure roadworthiness via licensing and registration checks.
- Document repairs and PMs in the online system for each work order.
- Install and repair onboard computers as needed.
- Inspect brakes, steering, bearings and related parts for proper operation.
- Perform routine maintenance and use hand/power tools as required.
- Handle other duties as assigned.
