Job summary

Performance Foodservice in the United States is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to perform preventive maintenance on medium to heavy-duty trucks, trailers and reefer units. You will ensure roadworthiness, document work orders, and communicate clearly with coworkers while performing diagnostics and repairs.

The role requires 2+ years of proven experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and familiarity with A/C refrigeration.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years proven experience in medium to heavy-duty vehicle repair including PMs and electrical diagnostics.
• Experience with A/C refrigeration and diesel fleet repairs is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on fleet tractors, trailers, and reefer units.
• Identify root causes of basic failures and perform repairs as needed.
• Ensure vehicles have proper licensing and roadworthiness before use.
• Document work orders for repairs and maintenance in the ERP/CMMS system.
• Install, replace, and repair onboard computers and related electronics.
• Conduct routine PM tasks and inspections and assist with road calls as required.
