Job summary

SRM Concrete is seeking Fleet Mechanics to maintain our fleet of mixer trucks, loaders, dump trucks, tankers, and other heavy equipment. You’ll perform routine maintenance, diagnose and repair diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems to keep vehicles safe and on schedule. Entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply; on-the-job training is provided.

CDL is preferred. You will document work, follow safety protocols, and collaborate with the operations team to minimize downtime while

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; CDL preferred if available.
• Vocational/technical diesel repair certification is a plus.
• Experience with diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on diesel engines and equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on heavy vehicles.
• Use diagnostic tools to identify issues and plan repairs.
• Rebuild or replace major components such as engines, starters, and transmissions.
• Coordinate with operations to schedule maintenance and minimize downtime.
• Uphold safety policies in workshop and on job sites.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records in company systems.
• Stay updated on diesel technology and repair techniques.
