Sysco Boston, LLC is seeking a Fleet Maintenance Technician responsible for safe, reliable vehicle upkeep and cost‑efficient operations. You will conduct preventive maintenance, perform inspections on tractors, trailers, and related equipment, and diagnose issues to minimize road downtime.

The role requires expertise in engine/transmission systems, electrical work, welding, and compliance with DOT/OSHA regulations, with on‑site work and third‑shift availability. A valid CDL is beneficial.

Qualificações

• Schooling in heavy-duty truck tech and a high school diploma or GED.
• 2-year program and 1+ year experience or 3 years fleet repair experience.
• Valid driver's license and relevant ASE/inspection certifications are preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Inspect and perform preventive maintenance on fleet vehicles within scheduled tolerances.
• Complete annual inspections on tractors, trailers, and related equipment per regulations.
• Diagnose malfunctions and perform repairs per manufacturer specs across systems.
• Document work orders and operate Sysco computer tools and diagnostics.
• Maintain electrical, hydraulic, transmission, and braking systems; assist with welding tasks.
