Job summary

Ancon is seeking an experienced Industrial Mechanic to maintain and repair company vehicles and equipment. The role includes diagnostic testing and preventative maintenance to prevent breakdowns, with potential travel to job sites as needed.

The candidate should have ASE/NATEF certification, 3+ years in mechanical work on gasoline/diesel engines, and the ability to work with vacuum and pumping equipment. Excellent physical fitness required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of mechanic experience on gasoline and diesel vehicles preferred.
• Experience with vacuum pumps and related equipment.
• Experience with Liquid Vac and Dry Vac Trucks.
• ASE/NATEF Certified.
• Knowledge of gasoline and diesel engine mechanics.
• Physically fit for physical work requirements.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, service and repair gasoline and diesel light/medium/heavy duty vehicles and related pumps/equipment.
• Document, organize and track work orders and billing/invoicing for parts and services.
• Inspect and test vehicles and record findings to guide repairs.
