Job summary

Compellier is seeking a skilled Fleet Maintenance Technician to keep diesel and hydraulic systems in peak condition across sites. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose issues, repair parts, manage inventory, and document activity while following safety rules and ensuring a clean, safe work environment.

The role requires hands-on experience, strong problem-solving, and the ability to travel to job sites as needed.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent with 2 years of experience working with maintaining or repairing diesel and hydraulic systems.
Associate's degree or trade school degree in Construction, Fleet or similar field and 1 year of experience working with maintaining or repairing diesel and hydraulic systems.
Bachelor's degree in Construction, Fleet, or related field.

Responsibilities

Maintains production and quality of fleet by ensuring operation of machinery and mechanical equipment.
Performs preventive maintenance on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyors, and production machines; follows manuals and specs; troubleshoots issues.
Removes defective parts and repairs using hoists, cranes, and hand tools; inspects parts.
Determines changes in dimensional requirements by inspecting parts with calipers and micrometers.
Maintains inventories of equipment, parts, and supplies; orders and expedites as needed.
Maintains safe and clean working environment by following procedures and regulations.
