Job summary

Sysco is seeking a skilled Fleet Technician to inspect and maintain our food-service fleet. This full-time role offers 3rd shift options, competitive hourly pay, and a comprehensive benefits package.

You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on trucks, trailers, and refrigeration units, document work orders, and mentor junior technicians as needed. Tools are provided by Sysco; CDL is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; CDL preferred, not required.
• 2-year school and 4 years of experience OR 5 years in fleet repair.
• ASE certifications preferred; EPA 608/609 certification.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections and preventive maintenance on fleet vehicles.
• Carry out annual inspections on tractors, trailers, and equipment.
• Diagnose and repair engines, transmissions, brakes, HVAC, and electrical systems.
• Document work orders and follow safety procedures.
• Mentor Fleet Technicians I/II and assist in supervision when needed.
