Job summary

Titan Machinery is hiring a Case IH Diesel Mechanic in Fargo, ND. You will diagnose, repair, maintain, and pre-delivery service diesel equipment in shop or field settings, ensuring high quality and efficiency.

Travel up to 75% with occasional overnights is required, and you will participate in ongoing training to stay current with product knowledge. We value accuracy, safety, and strong communication, with a focus on customer value and timely service.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of related experience OR an Associate's Degree in Diesel Equipment Technology or related program.
• 1+ years of successfully completing tasks with limited supervision
• Clean driving record
• Must have own tools
• Must have or be able to obtain and maintain a DOT Medical Certification
• Ability to travel up to 75% of the time with occasional overnights and 50%+ offsite/in the field
• Ability to work flexible/on-call hours
• Keen attention to detail, high level of initiative, and the ability to work independently
• Exceptional documentation and communication abilities

Responsibilities

• Diagnostic, Repair, and Technical Expertise: Diagnose, repair, and recondition machine systems; provide field service as directed by the Service Manager (possible weekend/after-hours)
• Documentation and Communication: Provide clear findings, repair timelines, and manage parts and service documentation
• Technical Development and Customer Focus: Pursue ongoing training and recommend maintenance or upgrades to add value
• Safety and Compliance: Follow safety rules and regulations while performing work
