Job summary

Titan Machinery is seeking a Case IH Diesel Mechanic to diagnose, repair, maintain, and pre-delivery service diesel equipment in shop or field environments. You will communicate findings, manage parts, and ensure timely service with safety and quality as top priorities.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years experience or an associate degree in diesel technology, own tools, and can travel up to 75%. Titan offers extensive benefits and a path for growth within a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of related experience OR an Associate's Degree in Diesel Equipment Technology or related program.
• 1+ years of tasks completed with limited supervision
• Clean driving record
• Must have own tools
• Must have or obtain DOT Medical Certification
• Ability to travel up to 75% with overnight stays and 50% or more field work
• Ability to work flexible/on-call hours
• Keen attention to detail and initiative
• Exceptional documentation and communication abilities

Responsibilities

• Diagnostic, Repair, and Technical Expertise: diagnose, repair, and recondition machines in accordance with manufacturer specs; provide field service as directed by the Service Manager, including weekends/after-hours when needed
• Documentation and Communication: clearly document findings, repairs, and timelines; manage parts and supplies; complete work orders promptly
• Technical Development and Customer Focus: participate in ongoing training; recommend maintenance or upgrades that add value and improve equipment performance
• Safety and Compliance: follow safety rules and regulations while performing work
