Job summary

Titan Machinery is hiring a Case IH Diesel Mechanic to diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel equipment in shop or field settings. You will perform quality service, communicate findings clearly, and manage parts and documentation under the direction of the Service Manager.

Applicants should have 2+ years of experience or an associate degree in Diesel Equipment Technology, own tools, and be able to travel up to 75% with potential overnights.

Qualifications

• Have 2+ years of related experience OR an Associate's Degree in Diesel Equipment Technology or related program.
• 1+ years of successfully completing tasks with limited supervision.
• Clean driving record.
• Must have own tools.
• Must have or have the ability to obtain and maintain a DOT Medical Certification.
• Ability to travel up to 75% of the time with occasional overnights and perform 50% or more work offsite/in the field.
• Ability to work flexible/on call hours.
• Keen attention to detail, high level of initiative, and the ability to work independently.
• Exceptional documentation and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Diagnostic, Repair, and Technical Expertise: Diagnose, repair, and recondition machine systems per manufacturer specs; provide field service as directed by the Service Manager, including occasional after-hours calls.
• Documentation and Communication: Communicate findings and repair timelines, manage parts, complete work orders and documentation accurately.
