Job summary

Xylem is seeking mechanically inclined professionals to join our field service team as a Senior Field Service Technician in Salt Lake City, UT. You will initiate and perform hands-on field service at customer sites, troubleshoot diesel engines and pump systems, and maintain Godwin fleet equipment between rentals.

Responsibilities include routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and managing parts inventory while ensuring safety for company and customer-owned equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to diagnose mechanical and electrical issues.
• 3–5+ years of diesel technician/mechanic experience or relevant training.

Responsibilities

• Initiate and execute field service activities at customer sites.
• Troubleshoot diesel engines, electrical systems, and pump-related issues.
• Perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and servicing on Godwin fleet equipment between rentals.
• Manage parts inventory and order as needed.
• Anticipate and correct safety issues for both company and customer-owned equipment.
