Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a skilled Mechanic in Salisbury, NC to perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a diverse fleet including aerial work platforms and general construction tools.

The role requires 3–5 years of diesel/heavy equipment experience, strong hydraulics/electrical knowledge, and flexibility in a fast-paced environment; bilingual ability may be required based on location.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; trade school or equivalent training desired.
• 3–5 years of mechanic experience with similar diesel/heavy equipment or specialty lines equipment strongly preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems; troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on equipment in a safe, efficient manner to minimize downtime.
• Work on a variety of makes/models and equipment; contribute to a safe, team-oriented shop environment.
