Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a Technician in Charlotte, NC to perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and complex repairs on a diverse fleet including Aerial Work Platforms, pumps, HVAC, and oil/gas equipment.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or GED and 5+ years of technician experience with diesel/heavy equipment; strong hydraulic and electrical troubleshooting skills are required; ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; some trade school or equivalent training desired.
• 5+ years of Technician experience with similar diesel equipment and/or heavy equipment strongly preferred.
• May need to provide tools of the trade and possess hydraulics/electrical troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics and complex repairs on equipment.
• Work on a fleet including Aerial Work Platforms, general construction tools, pumps and HVAC equipment.
• Adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety.
