Job summary

Cross Resource Group is seeking a Field Service Technician to independently diagnose, repair, and maintain John Deere equipment and related technology. The role may involve guidance from leadership and requires thorough documentation and timely submission of work orders.

Ideal candidates will have experience with mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems in off-road/construction equipment, plus proficiency in basic computer tools and field diagnostics.

Qualifications

• Experience communicating effectively verbally and in writing.
• Experience performing diagnostics and repairs on equipment.
• Ability to mentor trainees and junior technicians.
• Experience with diagnostic tools and basic computer functions.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostics and repairs on John Deere equipment and technology.
• Mentors Service Technician Trainees and Service Technicians.
• Accounts for billable time and assigned work orders.
• Documents diagnostics and repairs thoroughly and submits information on time.
• Operates and maintains vehicles, tools and equipment.
