Beard Equipment Company is an authorized John Deere dealer committed to reliable service. The Service Technician diagnoses, repairs, and maintains John Deere construction, forestry, and industrial equipment in shop and field environments.

Key responsibilities include diagnosing diesel, hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems; performing preventive maintenance and inspections; completing work orders; and communicating repair recommendations with customers and managers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience repairing heavy equipment preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting and mechanical skills.
• Basic computer and diagnostic software knowledge.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair diesel, hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance and equipment inspections.
• Complete work orders and service documentation accurately.
• Communicate repair recommendations with customers and managers.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
• Participate in ongoing technical and manufacturer training.
