Job summary

Vulcan Materials Company seeks an experienced diesel equipment technician to diagnose and repair diesel engines and related systems on heavy equipment. You will troubleshoot fuel systems with manufacturer software and perform routine maintenance, disassembly/assembly of pumps and lines, and ensure safety compliance in the field.

Strong communication, teamwork, and meticulous attention to detail are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Previous experience with diesel/heavy construction equipment preferred.
• Additional vocational/trade school training in mechanical field is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair diesel engines and related equipment.
• Troubleshoot fuel system using manufacturer software.
• Disassemble and assemble pumps and lines for fuel system.
• Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes and filter replacements.
• Ensure safety and compliance of diesel equipment and related gear.
