Job summary

Vulcan Materials Company seeks a diesel equipment technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel engines and related systems in vehicles and equipment across our plant. You will perform inspections, troubleshoot issues, and document service reports while collaborating with customers and team members to ensure safety and uptime.

Candidates should have a High School diploma or GED and relevant driving experience; CDL with tanker endorsement is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Three years of experience driving commercially licensed vehicles preferred.
• CDL with tanker endorsement required.
• Knowledge of servicing heavy construction equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain mobile equipment.
• Service, repair, adjust, and test equipment to maximize performance and minimize downtime.
• Inspect equipment to identify and troubleshoot issues and perform repairs.
• Document and record service reports daily.
• Assist in operating heavy equipment as needed.
• May assist mechanics with tire changes.
