Job summary

Vulcan Materials Company seeks a Diesel Technician responsible for the repair and maintenance of diesel equipment used in aggregate production, including engines, hydraulics, electronics, Tier 4 Systems and fuel systems.

The ideal candidate will have strong diesel engine mechanics knowledge and be able to diagnose and repair a wide range of equipment and problems, with travel up to 90% to projects across the region and overnight stays required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Experience on diesel or heavy construction equipment preferred.
• CAT SIS/ET knowledge required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair diesel engines and related systems.
• Perform routine maintenance and oil changes.
• Troubleshoot fuel and electrical systems using manufacturer software.
• Work overtime and travel to various sites.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain compliance.
