Job summary

Vulcan Materials Company is seeking a skilled diesel technician responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel engines and related vehicle systems across multiple settings. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues, and use specialized tools and diagnostic equipment following safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Experience on diesel or heavy construction equipment preferred.
• Vocational/trade school training in a mechanical field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair diesel engines and related equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes and filter replacements.
• Use diagnostic tools and CAT SIS / Komatsu software for fault finding.
• Ensure safety standards and manufacturer specifications.
• Collaborate with team and communicate effectively.
• Tolerate variable environments including repair shops and industrial sites.
