Job summary

Vulcan Materials Company is seeking a skilled diesel technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel engines and related systems across vehicles and equipment at our plant. You will perform inspections, troubleshoot issues, and complete preventive maintenance to ensure safe, reliable operations.

You will document work orders, assist operators, and collaborate with teams to minimize downtime. A CDL with tanker endorsement and several years of driving/heavy equipment experience are preferred;

Qualifications

• Three years experience driving commercially licensed vehicles preferred.
• Two (3) years experience driving ready mix concrete trucks preferred.
• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a tanker endorsement.
• Must have and maintain valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Repair and Maintain Mobile Equipment.
• Service, repair, adjust, and test all mobile equipment that operates throughout the plant to maximize performance and limit downtime.
• Inspect all mobile equipment to identify and troubleshoot the cause of errors. Perform repairs to address problems when necessary.
• Handle, install, position, and move parts, materials, and industrial hand tools in a safe manner throughout the shop and plant.
• Document and Record Information.
