Job summary

HOLT CAT is seeking an Engine Shop Service Technician in Irving, TX. This role performs teardown, inspection, and repairs on diesel and natural gas engines in a shop environment, and collaborates with a team to meet customer needs and departmental goals.

You will work Monday–Friday, 7 AM–4 PM, and must be able to operate hand and pneumatic tools, forklifts, and an overhead crane while adhering to safety standards.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of related work experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Technical diesel schooling preferred.

Responsibilities

• Dismantle and assemble complex diesel or natural gas engines to spec.
• Inspect, test run, repair, and paint engines per manufacturer guidance.
• Estimate, plan, and control repair costs; manage parts orders.
• Maintain equipment/work areas and follow safety policies at all times.
• Overtime may be required; participate in training paths.
