Job summary

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience repairing and maintaining heavy-duty transit equipment.
• ASE certifications preferred.
• Must be able to obtain a CDL with Passenger and Airbrake endorsements.
• DOT drug testing and physical may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and replacements on engines, ensuring optimal functionality.
• Assist A-Level and B-Level Mechanics in advanced diagnostic and repair tasks.
• Service and/or repair all assigned transit vehicles and related equipment.
• Lead diagnostic tests to identify complex issues and determine repair strategies for diesel engines.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting and repair tasks on diesel engines, including overhauling and rebuilding components.
