Job summary

Transdev North America in Chula Vista, CA is looking for a Maintenance Technician B to enhance our team. You will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel engines across various vehicles. This vital role ensures the safety and efficiency of our transit fleet.

Ideal candidates will have 3–4 years of experience in heavy-duty transit equipment, necessary ASE certifications, and the ability to work in various conditions. Competitive pay starts at $38.23 per hour, along with numerous benefits.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years of experience in the repair and maintenance of heavy-duty transit equipment.
• Ability to obtain necessary ASE certifications.
• Must be able to obtain a Commercial Driving License.

Responsibilities

• Conduct diagnostic tests to troubleshoot engine issues.
• Perform moderate complexity repairs on engine components.
• Assist A-Level Mechanics in advanced diagnostic tasks.
• Execute routine maintenance tasks for engine performance.
