Job summary

JASPER in Jasper, IN is seeking a Diesel - POD 70 Disassembly associate to safely remove components from engines using hoists, impact tools, air chisels and hand tools. You will load parts into a washer and work on a lift/turn table, with an expectation to lift up to 50 lbs and maintain a fast pace with clear communication.

The role includes overtime, a climate-controlled environment, and opportunities for wage increases through performance reviews.

Qualifications

• The ability to lift, bend, push, pull and move materials up to 50lbs.
• The ability to stand or walk an entire shift (approximately 8–10 hours).
• The ability to use handheld tools such as hammers, impacts, punches.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble components from the core engine using hoists, impacts, air chisels and hand tools.
• Load and unload components into a washer.
• Work on a lift/turn table to aid disassembly while following safety procedures.
