Job summary

GFL Industries is seeking an experienced Diesel/CNG Maintenance Technician to diagnose, repair and maintain our fleet to a road-ready condition. You will lead inspections, work with brake systems, engines, electrical, hydraulics, and fuel systems.

You will mentor level B/C mechanics, prioritize tasks, review write-ups, perform DOT inspections, and ensure safety compliance while maintaining documentation and driving efficiency.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of diesel/CNG maintenance experience.
• ASE certifications preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair Diesel and CNG powered trucks, including engines, electrical, hydraulics and fuel systems.
• Lead inspections of brake systems, engine components and emission systems.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to level B and C mechanics.
• Prioritize repairs to maximize efficiency and on-time completion of work orders.
• Perform DOT and brake inspections on all vehicles.
• Oversee repair scheduling and maintain required documentation.
