Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and comprehend service/technical information.
• Familiar with DOT CHP repair processes and controls for Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports.
• Ability to communicate mechanical issues clearly.
• Own required tools and basic shop equipment.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues on diesel and CNG fleet vehicles.
• Perform preventative maintenance and inspections per SRTs.
• Complete repair documentation including parts usage and repair times.
• Perform roadside emergency diagnosis and repair as directed by supervision.
• Adhere to safety and OSHA regulations during all tasks.
