Job summary

Athens Services is seeking a skilled Fleet Maintenance Technician to diagnose and repair mechanical issues in our diesel and CNG fleets. You will perform preventive maintenance, safety inspections, and handling of roadside emergencies as directed by supervision.

The role requires reading service information, safe operation, and effective communication of repairs. DOT CHP processes and OSHA rules apply; a valid Class C license is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Trade School Certification or equivalent preferred.
• ASE Medium/Heavy Truck Certifications (T2–T8) advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues in diesel and CNG fleets.
• Perform preventive maintenance and routine servicing.
• Triage electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, and air systems.
