Job summary

GFL Environmental Inc. is seeking a skilled diesel/CNG fleet technician in Smyrna, GA to diagnose, repair, and maintain our fleet.

You will inspect brakes, engines, emissions, steering systems, and wheel bearings, and perform electronic diagnostics and electrical/hydraulic repairs. The role requires 3+ years of diesel/CNG maintenance experience, with CDL (Class A/B) preferred and ASE certifications favored.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of diesel/CNG maintenance experience.
• Experience with diesel and natural gas vehicle diagnostics and repair.
• Must be able to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair and maintain GFL's Diesel and CNG fleet under supervision.
• Complete inspection of brakes, engines, emissions, steering, wheel bearings.
• Test drive trucks to diagnose malfunctions.
• Perform electronic diagnostics and repair electrical/hydraulic systems.
• Conduct DOT and brake inspections on all vehicles.
• Complete reports, work orders, and order parts.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and comply with safety regulations.
