Job summary

Challenge Manufacturing is seeking a Die Setter/Press Operator to work on 200 to 2500 ton presses at Plant 4 in Holland, MI. You will set up dies, validate tool alignment and ensure parts meet JES and spec requirements.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, English proficiency, and 1–3 months of related experience. Die setting and press operating experience are preferred; LOTO experience is valued. This is a high-urgency, hands-on shift role with strong safety focus.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English to safely perform duties.
  • 1–3 months related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Metal stamping experience preferred; die setting in stamping preferred.
  • Lockout/tagout experience preferred; press operating experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Sets up and changes dies on Progressive, Secondary and Transfer presses (200 Ton to 2500 Ton).
  • Operates presses to produce parts per JES, die-set sheets and engineering specs.
  • Maintains safety, housekeeping and adheres to Quality Policy and procedures.
  • Identifies non-conformities and participates in corrective actions and problem solving.
  • Rotates through responsibilities to support plant flow; works up to 12 hours/day as needed.
