Job summary

Challenge Manufacturing seeks a Die Setter for the Y Shift in Holland, MI. You will set up and change dies on progressive, secondary and transfer presses to ensure quality parts meet specs, using JES and setup sheets.

You will clamp dies/tools, feed guides, thread metal strips, and help with die protection devices, while maintaining safe, clean work areas. The role requires basic reading/writing in English, a GED or high school diploma, 1–3 months related experience, and preference for metal

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required; ability to read and follow instructions.
• 1–3 months related experience or training preferred.
• Metal stamping experience preferred; die setting in stamping preferred.
• Ability to read JES or work instructions; safety procedures.
• Must work up to 12 hours per day including weekends.
• Able to rotate through responsibilities and work collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Set up and change dies on presses per JES and die set up sheets.
• Clamp dies/tools, feed guides, and guarding per setup requirements.
• Thread metal strip from coils through pinch rollers and load dies/tools with blanks.
• Install die protection devices and perform basic problem solving.
• Maintain housekeeping and safety in the work area and follow instructions.
