Job summary

Flex-N-Gate in Michigan is hiring a Die Setter responsible for installing, aligning, and securing dies on production equipment, and setting up pressroom dies and feeders to meet schedules. You will work with machine operators and maintenance to minimize downtime, ensure safety, and maintain tooling quality while adhering to all company policies.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and 2+ years of die setting experience in automotive manufacturing, with experience operating lifts

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years as a die setter or similar in manufacturing, preferably automotive.
• Experience with stamping presses and die setting.
• Ability to safely operate all equipment required.

Responsibilities

• Install dies and ensure proper alignment and cleanliness.
• Set up press room equipment and adjust settings for first-off quality.
• Operate lift trucks/overhead crane and use measuring tools.
• Maintain good housekeeping and follow company procedures.
