Job summary

Challenge Manufacturing is seeking a Die Setter/Press Operator to set up dies on multiple press types and maintain quality per JES and engineering specs. You will work on the Y Shift in Holland, MI, operating safely and assisting continuous improvement initiatives.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, basic English, and 1–3 months related experience. Stresses include long hours and weekend work on a 12-hour shift schedule with strong emphasis on safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; basic reading/writing English essential.
• Experience with metal stamping and die setting preferred.
• Must understand safety procedures and work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Set up dies on progressive, secondary, and transfer presses per JES and setup sheets.
• Ensure parts meet quality standards and production schedules.
• Document non-conformities and support corrective actions.
• Operate presses, clamp dies/tools, and handle material safely.
• Maintain housekeeping and follow safety/environmental policies.
