Job summary

Inova Staffing Services is seeking a Die Set-Up Technician for our client in Streetsboro, OH. This role offers 2nd and 3rd shifts, weekly pay, and a path to permanent employment via a temp-to-hire arrangement.

The starting pay is $21 per hour, with training on the 1st shift for up to 30 days. You will set up and align dies, read blueprints, perform first-piece inspections, and support changeovers with safety-focused practices.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical mindset and ability to read blueprints or setup sheets.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs and perform physical work throughout shift.
• Prior manufacturing or die setup experience preferred.
• Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and overhead cranes.
• Reliable transportation and good attendance.

Responsibilities

• Set up and align dies, tooling, and equipment for forging and production operations.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and overhead cranes to position and secure heavy dies (up to 75 lbs).
• Read and interpret blueprints and setup sheets to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Perform first-piece inspections and make necessary adjustments for proper fit and alignment.
• Work closely with production and maintenance teams to ensure smooth changeovers and safe operations.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, following safety and lockout/tagout procedures.
