Job summary

Topy America, Inc. is seeking a Machine Set-up Technician (Die Setter) for the 3rd shift in Frankfort, KY. The role involves die setup, maintenance, and tooling preparation to support stamping operations.

Responsibilities include adjusting dies, inspecting tooling, machining parts, and maintaining records. Candidates should have strong problem-solving and reading drawings, plus experience with welding and shop tools. 3rd shift: 12am–8:30am, M-F.

Qualifications

• Experience setting up and maintaining dies for stamping operations.
• Ability to read structure and function drawings.
• Experience with machine shop tools and welding.
• Lift 50 lbs and work on stairs/ladders.
• Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
• Good verbal and written communication and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up and adjust dies and presses accurately.
• Prepare dies and jig tools for next production run.
• Inspect and maintain dies and jig tools to standards.
• Machinе parts for dies and jig tools using lathes and mills.
• Maintain maintenance records and inventory for consumables.
• Operate forklifts, hoists and slinging equipment during changes.
