Inova Staffing is seeking a dependable, mechanically inclined Machine Setup / Operator & Maintenance Technician for a 1st shift in a Northeast Ohio manufacturing setting. You will set up, operate, troubleshoot, and maintain production machinery to keep operations flowing and quality high.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing, machine operation, setup, or industrial maintenance experience preferred.
• Ability to understand and follow work instructions and technical drawings.
• Knowledge of machine safety and preventive maintenance practices.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and tear down manufacturing equipment, tooling, and fixtures.
• Perform machine start-up and shutdown procedures.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and make necessary adjustments to maintain production.
• Assist with preventive maintenance on machinery, equipment, and building components.
• Read and follow work orders, production instructions, and technical drawings.
• Load raw materials into machines and adjust equipment for production.
• Conduct first-piece and ongoing quality inspections to ensure products meet specifications.
• Maintain accurate production documentation and machine setup procedures.
• Identify and report safety concerns, equipment malfunctions, and quality issues.
• Work to minimize scrap, reduce downtime, and improve production efficiency.

Pay: $23.00/hour starting | $24.00/hour upon permanent hire.

Schedule: Monday– Friday, 7: 00 AM – 3: 30 PM. Shift: 1st Shift. Job Type: Temp-to-Hire.

Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and tear down manufacturing equipment, tooling, and fixtures.
