Job Title: Die Repair Technician

Job Location: Detroit, MI - Utica Washers

Job Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 1st Shift - 6AM-4PM

About the role: The Die Repair Technician's purpose is to construct precision tools or dies that are used to cut, shape, and form metal and other materials. They produce jigs and fixtures and gauges and other measuring devices.

Responsibilities:

1. Cut and shape tools with lathes and cutting machines
2. Proficiently run a Bridgeport, OD/ID Grinders, and other Surface Grinding machines
3. Use precision measurement instruments such as micrometers, gauges, and calipers to check the tool's dimensions
4. Monitor Machines to ensure efficient run rates, identify repairs and suggest improvements
5. Benching and Polishing experience a plus

2. Able to use hand tools such as wrenches, screw drivers, etc.
3. Possess basic computer skills
