Job summary

Stanley Electric US in London, Ohio, seeks a Die Mold Technician to maintain and modify tooling for the injection molding group, reducing downtime and improving quality.

You will repair tooling, coordinate with QC/QA, and train hourly associates; overtime and occasional travel may apply. This role reinforces our commitment to high-quality lighting components and reliable manufacturing processes.

Qualifications

• 2 years tool & die experience or its equivalent
• Thorough knowledge of injection molds
• Setup and operation of manual machine tools
• Demonstrated knowledge of mechanical and electrical troubleshooting
• Proven oral and written communication skills
• Demonstrated planning and monitoring ability

Responsibilities

• Reduce tooling-related downtime by maintaining or modifying tooling for the injection molding group.
• Repair and maintenance of tooling to reduce downtime and ensure cost-effectiveness of production.
• Conduct highly sophisticated repair work to ensure repairs meet quality standards.
• Act as a liaison between die mold and other departments such as QC and QA.
• Train hourly associates regarding repair and maintenance to facilitate development of associates.
• Support die mold maintenance coordinator to ensure full functionality of the department.
