Job summary

Image Associates Inc. is a Knoxville, TN based automotive parts maker seeking a Production Manager to lead its die casting operations with a strong emphasis on safety, quality, delivery, and cost improvements.

You will drive continuous improvement per the Toyota Production System, set goals for scrap reduction, and work with maintenance to maximize machine uptime. Travel 10–20% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related major.
• Extensive die casting experience, especially automotive parts.
• At least three years of supervisory experience.
• Proven in driving quality, cost, delivery times, and safety improvements.
• Metrics-driven approach to production trends.
• Willingness to travel 10-20% by plane/car.
• Experience with 5S and TPS.

Responsibilities

• Lead the die casting manufacturing department with safety first.
• Drive continuous improvement using Toyota Production System.
• Set goals for scrap reduction and reduced customer complaints.
• Collaborate with maintenance to improve machine uptime.
• Provide data-driven analyses of manufacturing problems.
• Evaluate manpower layout and 5S standardization.
