Job summary

NSI Industries, the Norridge, IL-based die cast manufacturer, seeks a Zinc Die Cast Operator to join our 2nd shift. You will perform quality checks, operate machines, mix lubricants, and ensure accurate routing; safety and efficiency are priorities.

This full-time role offers $17.00/hour with a $1 differential, comprehensive benefits including health, dental and vision, a retirement plan with company match, and paid holidays/vacation. EEO employer.

Qualifications

• Heavy lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Basic math and reading skills.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality checks per routing sheet and report issues with part quality, process or machine.
• Identify defects and use measuring equipment (gauges, caliper, micrometer).
• Operate assigned machine(s) and report stoppages, scrap or other issues.
• Wear required PPE and maintain clean work area.
