Job summary

NSI Industries in Norridge, IL is seeking a Machine Maintenance Mechanic for the first shift (6:30am–3:00pm). You will operate, troubleshoot, and repair die casting machinery, focusing on hydraulic and electrical systems.

The role offers a stable daytime schedule at a well-established manufacturer with 60+ years in business. The ideal candidate has machine maintenance experience and knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems.

Qualifications

• Experience in machine maintenance.
• Knowledge of electrical and hydraulic systems.

Responsibilities

• Operate, troubleshoot and repair casting machinery.
• Inspect oil, air, water, and gas lines for leaks and fix as needed.
• Repair hydraulic pumps, cylinders, valves and related components.
• Replace worn parts on casting machines and presses.
• Install/adjust limit switches on new/existing molds.
• Assist Plant Engineering Manager with other duties.
