Job summary

NSI Industries is seeking a Heavy Machine Operator for the Stratford, CT location. The role focuses on safe and efficient operation of industrial equipment to support production goals. You will operate, maintain, and troubleshoot heavy machinery while following safety protocols and meeting targets.

This is a 2nd shift position (3:45 PM – 11:45 PM). The ideal candidate will be able to operate the Die Cast Machine, perform inspections, communicate issues promptly, and work with the team to ensure

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to operate machines.
• On the job training.
• Must be able to understand all essential functions; expect gradual proficiency over ~1 month.

Responsibilities

• Operates Die Cast Machine.
• Inspects parts with a gauge or visually and signs off.
• Notifies Mechanic or Foreperson for issues.
• Maintains clean and safe work area.
• Covers a machine for another employee during breaks.
• Follows supervisor directions and communicates with peers.
