Job summary

NSI Industries is seeking a Heavy Machine Operator for the Stratford, CT location. This 2nd shift role (3:45 PM – 11:45 PM) supports production goals by safely operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting heavy equipment in a manufacturing setting.

The ideal candidate will follow all safety protocols, be able to work 2nd shift, and adapt to changes in duties as needed. On-the-job training is provided, with a focus on quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to operate machines.
• On the job training provided.
• Must understand all essential functions within about one month.

Responsibilities

• Operates Die Cast Machine and part separation.
• Inspects parts with gauges or visually and signs off.
• Monitors machine and alerts maintenance if issues arise.
• Maintains clean, safe work area and covers for others when needed.
• Follows supervisor instructions and communicates with team.
