Job summary

NSI Industries in Stratford, CT is seeking a Die Cast Set Up Mechanic for 2nd shift at our Bridgeport Fittings facility. You will set up die cast machines and trim presses, troubleshoot issues, and ensure safety compliance.

The role requires basic mechanical knowledge, ability to read calipers/micrometers, and teamwork. Relocation allowance offered; medical, dental, 401k benefits; PPE provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience setting up and troubleshooting machines helpful.
• Knowledge of die cast equipment is a plus.
• Ability to read micrometers and calipers.

Responsibilities

• Set up various die cast machines and trim presses.
• Troubleshoot porosity and flash issues.
• Maintain safety equipment and guarding.
• Submit first and last pieces on setups.
• Assist operators on procedures when needed.
