Job summary

Caliberr Staffing is seeking a Die-Cast Process Technician in Laurens, SC to oversee high-pressure aluminum die-casting tasks, drive process refinement, and uphold quality standards. You will maintain output, reduce waste, and ensure safety and quality protocols are followed.

Responsibilities include setup/changeovers, process monitoring, and TPM activities. The role requires strong troubleshooting, mentoring of production staff, and a readiness to work any shift with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 4+ years in high-pressure aluminum die-casting in an industrial setting.
• Automotive manufacturing experience is highly valued.
• Proficient in die-casting cell setup, changeovers, and troubleshooting.
• Familiar with SPC, FMEA, MSA, APQP, PPAP core tools.
• Root-cause analysis using 8D and 5-Why is expected.
• Experience coordinating tooling repair and TPM.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and documentation discipline.
• Willingness to work any shift and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Execute planned and unplanned changeovers and setups for die-casting cells.
• Track process variables to ensure consistent quality.
• Safely manage the melting and delivery of molten aluminum.
• Resolve process issues to maintain production flow.
• Maintain shift logs and records with accuracy.
