Job summary

Northwest Kidney Centers seeks a Dialysis Technician II for our Burien Dialysis Center. This full-time, .9 FTE role runs 4 x 9-hour shifts, Sunday through Friday, 2:00 PM to 11:30 PM.

The successful candidate will be trained to become a Dialysis Technician in 8+ weeks, with ongoing support toward career goals. The position provides comprehensive benefits, competitive pay, and opportunities to advance within a leading nonprofit dialysis provider.

Qualifications

• Proof of High School Diploma (or GED or advanced degree).
• BLS from American Heart Association (preferred).
• Experience in direct patient care or phlebotomy is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up dialysis machines and connect patients to machines.
• Monitor treatment and disconnect after completion.
• Clean and reprocess dialyzer; handle chemicals safely and follow safety procedures.
• Report problems to appropriate staff and communicate with patients and families.
• Float to other clinics as needed to maintain safe patient care.
