Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in Woodstock, GA is seeking an entry-level professional RN CAP1 as part of the Clinical Advancement Program. You will provide and coordinate clinically competent care for an assigned patient group during dialysis, including assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation.

You may delegate tasks to licensed staff, participate in teaching and quality improvement, and support the End Stage Kidney Disease team to improve patient outcomes and facility operations.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing and current state RN licensure.
• Current or successful CPR BLS Certification.
• Minimum 9 months experience as an RN; 3 months dialysis experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs essential nursing functions under supervision and with guidance from educators.
• Collects and analyzes patient data during hemodialysis and documents in records.
• Assesses learning needs and provides education to patients and families.
• Delivers safe dialysis care and assists with daily operations of care delivery.
