Fresenius Medical Care, a global leader in kidney care, seeks an entry-level Outpatient RN CAP 1 to join the Clinical Advancement Program. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for an assigned patient group, collaborating with RNs, LVNs/LPNs, and patient care technicians.

The role emphasizes education, coordination of dialysis therapy, and participation in quality improvement as part of the End Stage Kidney Disease health care team, with CAP progression requirements.

Formación

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current state RN licensure.
• CPR/BLS Certification required.
• Entry level RN with <2 years nephrology nursing experience.

Responsabilidades

• Perform essential functions under supervision and with guidance from Clinical Educator or RN leadership.
• Collect and analyze patient data during dialysis and document in medical record; adjust plan as needed.
• Educate patients and families about care and learning needs.
• Provide safe, effective delivery of hemodialysis therapy with the team.
• Administer medications as prescribed and document effectiveness.
• Participate in emergency response measures as needed.
• Help with staff training and orientation as assigned.
• Ensure correct lab collection and processing; reschedule missed collections.
